Guilty Pleasures #5 - Star Wars Month - Star War Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

Star Wars Episode III, in my opinion by far the best of the prequels and the only one that isn’t downright terrible. That’s not to say that it’s good, but we’ll get into that momentarily. Let’s dig into Star Wars Episode III, and see what there is to say.

Have I not been using this lately? If you click on the link, there will be spoilers

Star Wars Month: TV Retrospective: Star Wars: The Clone Wars

After the similarly titled Star Wars: The Clone Wars film, a TV series of the same name came out. It followed on from the film with the same cast (minus Samuel L Jackson and Christopher Lee) and following on from story-lines planted from the film. Let's dig into Star Wars the Clone Wars and see whether it's any improvement over the movie.

Editorial - What I want to see in The Legend of Korra book 4

Korra book 3 is done. And book 4 is already on its way. Whether it'll be Nick.com exclusive as the latter half of book 3 was, remains to be seen, but probably

But unlike most TV retrospective, we won't be looking back today, but looking forward. This is a list of things I want to see in book 4, beware, there will be spoilers from book 3, book 2, book 1, Avatar: The Last Airbender and the comics

#11 Star Wars Month: Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Oh boy, the time has come. This is my least favourite star wars movie. Yeah, it’s worse than the Phantom Menace in my opinion. Worse than 2 hours of Jar Jar Binks. So… How could that possibly be? Let’s dig into Star Wars: Attack of the clones and find out

TV Retrospective - Doctor Who (2005 series)

I'll be reasonably brief, and everything I say is off the top of my head, but seeing as the latest series of Doctor Who Premiers this week I thought I might briefly mention what I've thought of the past series.

I haven't rewatched all these episodes, as I don't have time, so I'm giving my thoughts off the top of my head, facts here therefore may not be 100% accurate

#10 Star Wars Month: Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace

It’s time for the lengthy reviews of Star Wars Month

Many years after Star Wars epiode VI Return of the Jedi, George Lucas decided the time was right to see the rise and fall of Anakin Skywalker, or as we know him from the original trilogy, Darth Vader.

Episode I brings us right back to the beginning, I mean right back, he’s only a child in this one, oh only good things can happen here, right? Let’s dive into the Phantom Menace, and see just how much this screwed things up.

TV Retrospective - Legend of Korra Book 2 Chapters 7-8 - Beginnings (parts 1 and 2)

Part 3 – Saga of the First Avatar

We’ve got to Avatar Wan’s part of the story

Oh by the way, I've started to call these TV retrospectives, as I'll be doing a lot of these, they deserve a separate segment to mini-film reviews

Star Wars Month - Mini Review/Commentary: Lego Star Wars: The Padawan Menance

Lego has expanded from being a children's building block, to a franchise surrounding toys, video games and movies, in addition, animated features such as the one I'm mentioning today.

Lego Star Wars: The Padawan Menace
Yeah, well - It's Star Wars Month

I'm obliged to do 2 reviews a week on Star Wars

Welcome to Lego humour. Self-referencing, fourth-wall breaking, and definitely not in continuity.
But the big question is it funny?

Well, sort of, I'm gonna do a commentary as opposed to a review, so spoilers

Star Wars Month - Mini review: Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope

Guess what, it's Star Wars Month

And we start where it all began (production-wise anyway) with Star Wars, later re-branded Episode IV: A new hope

Before we begin, let's tackle spoilers, for the purposes of the mini-reviews, I may draw reference to the continuity of all star wars films, so episodes I-III and V and VI may also be referred to in this review.

TV Retrospective: Legend of Korra Book 2 Chapters 1-4 - Rebel Spirit/The Southern Lights/Civil Wars (parts 1 and 2)

What better way to start off star wars than with the legend of Korra book 2 part 1

So, you might be asking, what’s with the formatting of this one, you seem to be doing random length episodes

I’m working these reviews in arcs
Part 1 – The Water Tribe Arc (Rebel Spirit – Civil wars)
Part 2 – Everyone’s an idiot except Mako parts 1 and 2 (Peacekeepers and the Sting)
Part 3 – Saga of the first Avatar (Beginnings)
Part 4 – The spirit world saga (featuring everyone’s an idiot except Mako (3)) (The Guide and the New Spiritual Age)
Part 5 – The final battles (featuring everyone’s an idiot except Mako (4)) (Night of a thousand stars – Light in the dark)

So, with that said, let’s start with The water tribe arc.
